Shanmugam Subramanian, who lives in Chennai, works in the IT sector and he also builds apps and websites in his free time. He was very much interested in rocket science, and it came to his mind that this work was a very challenging task which even NASA could not find, so he too got inspired and started searching.
He says that he used every image released by NASA to compare them with the new image and kept scanning it for days. He saw the debris of Vikram Lander about 750 meters away from the site of the incident and then contacted NASA and after that NASA confirmed the identification by comparing before and after images and identified the debris spotted by Subramanian with an “S” on its image.
