It totally depends on the cultural fit of the working place and your expectations from that organization.
There are many companies where employees want to work, they are self-motivated for their work and don’t require any push. Organizations which believes in the growth and development of an employee with the company are having best culture.
But, there are also some organizations where the employee feels trapped, and mostly it happens in IT industry of India.
Bad culture, poor internal communication, bad micromanagement, lack of empathy, poor management and leadership, office discipline, repetitive job, stretched office hours, slow or no development, less wages these factors make the employee feel trapped.
At the end of the day, it totally depends on the employee’s attitude towards the company, if you are loving your work go ahead keep on adding values.
If not, then change the job role.
